ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ အဖွဲ့အစည်းများသည် အွန်လိုင်းပေါ်တွင် ပျံ့နှံ့နေသော လူပြောများသည့် အကြောင်းအရာများ အထူးသဖြင့် လူ့အဖွဲ့အစည်းနှင့် လူမှုဝန်းကျင်အပေါ် အန္တရာယ်ဖြစ်စေနိုင်သည့် အကြောင်းအရာများကို စိစစ်ခြင်းနှင့် အချက်အလက် တိုက်ဆိုင်စစ်ဆေးခြင်း၊ သတင်းတု/သတင်းမှားများကို ဖော်ထုတ်ခြင်း၊ တန်ပြန်တိုက်ထုတ်ခြင်းတို့ လုပ်ဆောင်နေသော အရပ်ဘက်အဖွဲ့အစည်းများ နှင့် မီဒီယာများဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့အဖွဲ့များသည် သတင်းတု/သတင်းမှားများကို လျော့နည်းပပျောက်ရေးအတွက် ကြိုးစားလုပ်ဆောင်ကြမည်ဟု တညီတညွတ်တည်း ကတိသစ္စာပြုထားကြပါသည်။
We, the above-mentioned organizations, are the civil organizations and media that are trying to counter the misinformation agencies that manipulate and spread misinformation and false content in Myanmar on the social media platform by monitoring and verifying the viral content that can be harmful to society and the media ecosystem. And we are united in our commitment to eliminate misinformation.
Myanmar Fact-checking Organization (MFCN)ကို ၂၀၂၄ ခုနှစ်၊ ဖေဖော်ဝါရီလ ၈ ရက်နေ့တွင် စတင်ဖွဲ့စည်းခဲ့ပြီး ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် အောက်ဖော်ပြပါ ရည်ရွယ်ချက်၊ မျှော်မှန်းချက်များနှင့် လုပ်ဆောင်လျက် ရှိပါသည်။
The Myanmar Fact-checking Organization (MFCN) was established on February 8, 2024, and we work by the objectives and purposes mentioned below:

Expectations
To eliminate misinformation/disinformation in Myanmar by effectively countering it and creating a peaceful environment on social media.

The aim
To upgrade the media ecosystem and to strengthen and promote professional standards of fact-checking in the public interest

- သတင်းတု/သတင်းမှားများကို အချက်အလက်စိစစ်ခြင်း နည်းလမ်းဖြင့် ပြန်လည်တွန်းလှန်ရင်း သတင်းတု/သတင်းမှားများ၏ ဆိုးကျိုးသက်ရောက်မှုကို ကိုင်တွယ်ဖြေရှင်းနိုင်ရန်
- မီဒီယာနှင့် သတင်းအချက်အလက်သိမှုပညာကို မြှင့်တင်ခြင်း၊ အများပြည်သူကို အသိပညာပေးခြင်း နည်းလမ်းများ ပိုမိုတိုးမြှင့်လုပ်ဆောင်ခြင်းဖြင့် သတင်းတု/သတင်းမှားများအား ကြိုတင်ကာကွယ်နိုင်ရန်

The purpose
- To combat misinformation/disinformation by using fact-checking methods to counter the effects of misinformation/disinformation.
- To promote media and information literacy to further educate the public on ways to prevent misinformation/disinformation.
- To share their knowledge and experience in fact-checking work among the members of Myanmar Fact Checking Network
- To work together as a network to make the fact-checking activities of Myanmar Factchecking Network’s members more accessible to the public.
- To improve the quality of fact-checking capacity of the members of Myanmar Factchecking Network and to make efforts to create a broader network.
